What players do we hate for odd reasons?

Here's an oldie. Dave Mackey. Spurs and Derby County. He crocked our very own Jimmy Husband. A dirty cynical foul. A dirty player. Some had him down as hard. I had him down as a dirty player.
And Johnie Giles and Billy Bremner. Those two put it about when they came up against our Trinity. Two dirty little players. But we had a few player's ourselves that could handle them.
Come to think about it......the whole Leeds Utd team of that era were dirty little so and so's. That Leeds team was hated by a lot of teams and supporters.

Robert Pires . I just can't see what he did apart from ping a few passes and win penalties by being a cheat .
Also Alan Smith from Arsenal . Just proves that some players don't need skill just a good team around them and some jammy luck .

Fellaini. Why? I have literally no idea. He didn't throw a fit, he had a release clause and then said "hey, Manchester United want to double/triple my wages, I would like to earn more money" once his clause expired. And he saved us about 4m because it voided his loyalty BS clause. Thus, making us able to purchase Lukaku.

Why anyone boo'd him is just beyond me.

Current crop?

Ali at Spurs
The bell at UTD who's name escapes me. Always dancing and arsing about, regularly linked to us.
That Scottish full back over the park. Vile creature.

Past players:

Franz Carr, always thought his pace was far bigger a threat that it actually was
Shilton/Schmeichel - purely because they got more praise than the greatest keeper of my lifetime.

Everton players? Only 1. Mark Hughes. Hated him as a player, was disgusted when we signed him, particularly as we paid him the 20k a week Hutchinson wanted.

Jamie Redknapp.

Speaking of pundits, a thread outlining the many perfectly logical reasons for hating Danny Murphy would be a good idea.

...hate is too strong a word to describe footballers.
Apart from Suarez perhaps.

Who I 'disliked' before he signed for the rs by being a cheat in the world cup with that hand ball penalty, which quickly turned to 'hate' at his lack of remorse / celebration at the penalty being missed.

His savagery biting people is the icing on the cake. It was no surprise when our loveable love-a-cheat neighbours signed the slimy rat faced worm.

Ashley Young, I remember the first time I saw him at Goodison, he was playing for Villa, we drew 2-2 that day, it was the time when we were sort of vying with Villa to be "best of the rest". He just came across as a horrible person, he was dirty and had an attitude like he was too good to be playing for Villa and too good to be playing against us.
