Player Valuation: £40m
Defence looks pretty much fine, especially if Duffy becomes more established. We still need more creativity and pace in midfield. If we manage to keep Pienaar and he gets injured, we'd struggle. Hoilett would be ideal. Cahill has just about had his day. We could do with someone with a wider range of skills to step in. Sigurdsson would be awesome. It seems like we've scouted him, but either Hoffenheim will want to keep him or we'll be priced out of a deal. We need another goalscorer too to take the pressure off Jelavic. If Kalou remains a free agent he'd be high on my wish list.

I can honestky not think of too many worse signings.
The thing is we are not far away from being a really good side, Howard, Baines, Jags, Distin and Heitinga is a quality back four ( right back is ok ideally could improve )
A combination of Rodwell, Barkley, Gibson, Fellaini, Osman in the middle is fine and if we can get Pienaar back then its just a ride sided player short of a good midfield.
No need to mention Jelavic someone with him or off him would be a priority so on that basis just two good players short of a really good side.

Although signing a dempsey or sigurssen type to replace would be ideal its not essential as we have options of ossie and barkley plus fellani to play that role.

A right back, right midfielder and either a attacking midfield or a partner for Jelavic. I think its about time that Moyes started to think about putting Coleman back at right back, the lads been found out abit on the wing an we'd save a few pennies. Right wing? Moses and Holliet are good shouts, though we'll be looking cheap I honestly wouldn't mind signing Matt Jarvis. Dempsey has to be the one behind the striker.
Just get all the Morroccans from Montpellier. Look at them all.

Pienaar is a must, pranjic would be good cover and kalou would nice along with diame. I have feeling michael owen will make his way here LOL. Manolas wouldn't be too bad and holiett would be awesome. I forgot about dempsey, he would be awesome.
Our squad is ageing, neville, cahill, distin, ossie aren't getting younger and young blood must brought in to kickstart for the future. Most of these signings are either on a free transfer or minimal fee. Wishful thinking though, i would get rid of victor Anchiebe and yobo (doesn't want to stay) for some funds! We need at least 5-10 mill this summer to strengthen our squad.

He seems to be able to play either wing and behind the striker, regardless we need that type of player. As we all know we can't afford top players, so with Dempsey going for so cheap think he'd be a superb signing while we try an find younger..

what if he got us into europe 3 years in a row and attracted better players to the club? I don't think he's all that but we don't have too many option atm. If we could get £15 mill for rodwell, and get in pienaar and sigursson for that it would be brilliant business, wont happen but still. Think siggurdson may g back to reading, especially as they are suppose to have good financial backing, but the guy is an absolute talent for swansea. Babbel says he wants him back there, but i don't think he wants to go back. Plenty of quality frees out there i.e. clyne, rodallega that would be perfect as squad fillers/brink of 1st team. think we all identify the areas that need strengthening though
