Bilyaletdinov
Tony Grant
James Vaughan
Materazzi (for us, though obviously went on to do well)

Joe Parkinson for me though, lad was great but his knee exploded and that was that.

Only 3 imo.
Billy Kenny, such an all round talent.
Frannie Jeffers - knew where the net was, had a great on field partnership with Super Kev Campbell.
James Vaughn, just so unfortunate with injuries.

Neil Moore for me.

Think he played 3 games for us under Kendall mkII and Walker and he looked solid in each game.

Tall, good in the air, decent passer and good positioning. I know someone who knew him well at the time and he said he would sadly never make it as he was a very down to earth lad who didnt realise how good he could be. Ended up having a solid lower/non league career where the pressure wasnt quite as intense.

Few for me -
Jeffers - left for the big time too early and never got back to where he should have been.
Vaughan - gave everything he had and more than he should. Cruelly denied a top top career by having knees made of glass and ankles made of plasticine.
Lundstrum - big hype but in his own words went on a few bad loans. Making his way back up the leagues and hope him and ledson will make it through together.
Michael Ball - should have been an England ever present but knee problems put an end to that and didn't really get back to where he was when he was at Everton.
Gavin McCann- sold on too early, was a solid and underrated player who we shouldn't have sold.
Richard Dunne - another we got rid of far too quickly.

Players that have come to us and have had something but we didn't see enough of it:
Van De Meyde
Drenthe
Dacourt
Kanchelskis (we should have paid the mob off to make sure he stayed) The one genuinely world class player I have seen play for us since I started going the game in 1994

Gerard Delepetitfilous

Real raw talent with pace to burn, shame he is just a pansy who jumps out of any sign of a tackle. In my opinion to be a great player you need to have that steel or even snide in you to let defenders know that any challenge will be met by equal force or skill that will leave you red faced.

If Delboy could just knock a ball around a defender and jump the tackle he would look amazing. Right now every 50-50 or even 60-40 in his favour he pulls out therefore losing possession and momentum.

Probably not the correct place for this but didn't want to start a new thread for something so small.

The Brazillian lad that was at Everton on loan Rodrigo... was in Moyes first season I think.

Anyone have any idea why he's now apparently called Rodrigo Beckham?
