John Henry is the 4th option, clearly.

If you want a John Henry for Everton, then vote that one. All megarich foreign owners who aren't familiar with British football go here. See also Tan, Hicks/Gillett, Assam, Venkys, Man City's Sinatra bloke and their current Sheikh, Abramovich etc.

He isn't pumping massive money in though. He's giving them decent amounts to spend whilst sensibly refusing to blow hundreds of millions on a new stadium that they don't need.

You can't class them in the same category at Mansour or Abramovic, and similarly, you can't ccclass them in the same category as Tan as they're not ompletely f*cking mental, haven't changed the club colours or replaced staff with teenage Asian kids.

They made a mistake with Dalglish. They rectified it. As much as it pains me to say it, they are the perfect owners for a club the size of Everton or Liverpool.

It's imperative to my identity as an Evertonian that the chairman is an old quilt who can cry on command.

I also want him to make loads of money by moving the club into a third rate stadium on a retail park.

Fair enough. But he doesn't fit the third option as he admitted he had no idea about "understanding football culture". Maybe I should've left the "brit" part ouf of the third option, tho'...but the understanding football bit is important.

Feel free to vote for sheikh on toast if you don't feel your preferred option is covered.

I can't imagine Sheik on toast tasting too great. He's quite a skinny chap, not much meat on him.

So, have you deccided whether you'd prefer Kenwright or Henry yet?

I voted keep Kenwright in the short-to-medium term. If he doesn't improve us by the end of the summer window, I'd like a Levy-figure...so the third option.

Not keen on a John Henry, to be honest...too far away from the football culture, a reminder of the total dominance of money in the game...but that's just my view, perhaps a minority opinion.

I would class Levy at the same level as Henry to be honest. Maybe with a bit more experience in football but at the same level of investment and planning for the future of the club. Without a doubt, Spurs, Liverpool and Arsenal are in the best position in regards to the boardroom of any club in the league.
