What if

Yes, you are probably right. It aint going to happen. He will be here for years, longer than Tim Howard, maybe longer than Ted Sagar.
In the first minute of the match he ballooned an easy clearance with his favourite foot into the Stanley Park end, and came running back
laughing like someone escaping from an asylum. Throughout the match he did his usual should I come or should I stay. The last few weeks he
cannot blame his defence. I've seen Shearer & Vernon miss penalties, but never when it counted. I've seen Banks, Southall & Yashin all make
mistakes, but never when it mattered. He has dropped the biggest bollock any Everton goalie has done in our history. Now Nymzee, can you
see why I ask for one of our other goalies to be given a run.

Yeh sure either a kid that’s never had a senior game of footie or Stek. I mean why have we used Pickford all season?

The "what if" for me was not even at an Everton game. What if Heysel had not happened, would we have conquered Europe and retained the best squad we have ever had and gone on to dominate Europe, instead of it all falling away to nothing.

Saddens me greatly - not only the lack of memory for the dead at that game compared to Hillsborough, but the devastation it caused our team.

What a ridiculous post, stop crying and over reacting. Its a football match after all and he's been brilliant for us. Anyone who wants Stekelenburg to get a run in the side is more like the guy whos escaped from an asylum. You're why we don't deserve nice things.

What if Man City get banned from the Champions League for breaching FFP, does 5th place qualify? Do City go to Europa League or non at all? Does 7th become a European spot?

Safe to say, that Andre Gomes header will haunt everyone here for the rest of our lives.

Any other infamous Everton "what ifs" that still haunt you? What might have been had something turned out differently?
Apart from half a dozen or so seasons Everton have been totally what if since the war.
If you can't take a joke you shouldn't have joined

If I'm honest, I don't really want us to qualify for the Europa League, it's just a distraction, nobody takes it seriously until the final stages, we just end up getting upset that some 3rd division team from Outer Mongolia beats us.

What if... us blues just stopped dwelling on the injustices of the past?

We need to move on - if we can't then how can we expect the club itself to?

If we went with a proper squad that wasn’t in complete disarray we’d be able to get out of the group with ease with our fringe players then be right in with a shout if we got a lucky draw. It’s only the absolute horror show under Koeman that has turned people against it. When we were ok under Moyes and Martinez we did relatively well in Europe.

Based on your post I can see why YOU would ask the question. However, most people would not ask the question.
