What have we learned from pre-season 2015?

We've learnt nothing from this pre-season to suggest that things are going to be any different from the 2nd half of last season. We will play well in patches and beat teams of lesser quality but struggle against teams of better quality. A bit meh really.

Can't say I'm looking forward to the new season with any degree of confidence, but hope to be pleasantly surprised. A win against Watford is a must otherwise things could go downhill fairly quickly.
+1 my man

That people will take any excuse to have a massive rant about the manager...

Oh wait, sorry we already knew this.

this is only my 2nd year watching everton (and soccer in general) but we look like a team with zero identity. is my assessment true? and if so, is that more a by product of talent or coaching?

Tough to tell really until a few games into the new season.

Off the back of Martinez's first season I would have described us as a possession focused team, but one who was dangerous in transition and on the counter.
Last year was a mess with injuries and a lack of confidence from the team, basically a massive shtstorm as it were.
We'll see this year around after a few games in.

Injuries to our first 11, mainly front players, we're doomed.
Kone still crap,
Naismith has no ability at football,
Tys ready,
Cleverly is actually not bad,
Howard looks even more of a tit without the beard,
We still have no money

Naismith has no ability at football? What about the ability to win headers nearly all of the time and the ability to score important goals?

Much better than last season.
Players look sharper and more competitive
Browning and Galloway have arrived.
We look toothless still without Lukaku and sometimes even with him.
The Everton board are an utter disgrace and are leaving Martinez with no cash to make a big difference.
Yes, it's an utter disgrace the board doesn't sanction the sale of Stones so Bob has money to spend. What are they thinking?!

Personally I would not say I have learned a lot just reminded about the fact that Howard Barry Kone and Osman are completely finished and should not be starting games. If any of them 4 start games for us next season we deserve to get beat. All are finished and should see out their days as squad players.
You just watch Ossie come on and improve the team's performance. As usual.

Browning and Galloway look ready to start being blooded. Still could do with experience cover though. We lack creativity although having Kone up front doesn't do us any favours.

Lennon was a inspired signing last season and really changed our attacking, we are missing him and it doesn't seem we will be signing him due to the signing of del. Hopefully del can do what Lennon did for us
