I remember quite clearly as a ten year old myself at the time being very excited about this signing,huge back page banner headlines,"the new George Best" I'm sure we beat off competition from Manchester utd,Spurs and a few others which made you proud of our status as a club back then,we got him in and I think we were thinking he would be in and around the first team in next to no time,but nothing,it just never really happened for the lad unfortunately.
