What effect is all the booing of substitutions in the last games going to have ?

As for the subs and boo's....

Mirallas sensible sub based on his injury.
Heitinga playing poor, so expected sub.

I'm amazed anyone could boo those changes. I'm sure moyes and co must chuckle at clueless fans.

The boos started when the announcer said Mirallas was coming off and were entirely about that from where I sat.

I think once people realised that jelavic and oviedo were both coming on they were happier about it, mind.

Maybe, defo seemed like two different sets of boos to me

i think people would have been happier if it was mirallas for oviedo and jelavic for heitinga

people have a right to boo.

moyes is not the perfect manager some like to portrait him as, the crowd showings its displeasure will help keep his feet on the ground.

Never heard of such a right. People boo and that's their prerogative, but it's entirely pointless.

I doubt booing has much of an effect on someone as stubborn as Moyes. His negative subs always elicit a negative reaction, but that doesn't stop him making three or four really bad ones per season.

Games against Villa are always mad anyway. Moyes did well to come back from the 2-3 defeat in 2008, when he started gesturing towards the fans after it looked like one of his unpopular changes had yielded a famous point, only for Ashley Young to run down the other end and steal a win. I'd have probably resigned after that.
