Firing a manager when starting the recruitment process is a sign of a badly run club in my opinion. Lots have had replacements lined up and managed to fire and then hire quickly... It's the best way

Hopefully a plan by TFG and not just sacking him with no plan in place.
They will have been working on something since before they came, I’d rather wait for the right people than just sack him and throw Baines in like people in here are suggesting. That is exactly the same decision making that we’ve used to waste the past 10 years.
