Our throw ins are gash as well - we never throw to feet like other teams.

I think we should be allowed specialist set piece takers that aren't necessarily in the starting 11. We might have some really quality throw in takers on the bench that just aren't good enough to play for us, so we utilise their specialist skill without it impacting on the number of substitutes we can make.

Pienaar was definitely our top thrower during his first spell at the club but I feel Spurs ruined that when he moved there. I'd let Coleman take every throw if I had my way.

why dont we test the speed and accuracy of every throw in in a training session? apparently they do this at spurs and other various football clubs, they also have specific tools for the job, come on martinez sort it out ffs

You know what, I hadn't considered this before but who better for the job? They get a lot of practice during the course of a game so some of these ball boys must have a tremendous throw in on them. If Roberto wants to keep his job he could do a lot worse than having a little read of this thread.

I think they tried that pre-season but Gueye was too slow for the job.
