What do you eat on a average day?

does everyone else just eat what ever they want when ever they want?
That last works fine (for most of us with a 'Y' chromosome) until somewhere between the late thirties and the age of forty. Then, merely looking at food causes weight gain.

I have a calorie cap. If I hit it at 9 AM, I'm done for the day. More commonly, I eat a very minimal amount of snacks throughout the day, cook a substantial meal in the evening, and that's it.

Diet Mon-fri.. I'd loose loads of weight but I ruin it on weekends!

Breakfast - porridge
Lunch - chicken salad
Dinner - meat & veg
Snacks - greek yogurt, rice cake, fruit.

Weekend. Lots of food and ale..

Whats the calorie cap?
Since I'm in the process of cutting weight at the moment, appallingly low. I tolerate this physically better than most people, who get nasty headaches and the like when they do this.

The big thing I have to do to make this work is eat a low-carb diet with significant amounts of vegetable protein, and engage in enough exercise to prevent muscle loss. I'm fortunate enough to be able to get away with less than you might think, on that score.
