Tesco finest sweet and fiery beetroot, it’s just beetroot with a bit of a kick to it. It’s lovely

When beetroot is cheap I roast it in the oven (cover each one in tinfoil), intensifies the flavour something lovely. A bit fiddly peeling them, and wear gloves otherwise you'll have permanent purple hands.
They serve it over here with a pureed mash and garlic dip.Boy does it work.
