? Initially read this as some sort of remark about the background. Skinniness? If you've inflicted this injury with a dull fruit/veg peeler you really had some leverage.

Went out for lunch today with Mrs k , had beer battered cod with chips, mushy peas and curry sauce (and a small pot of tartare sauce), it was lovely but I’m not really a fan of large meals at lunchtime, felt stuffed all afternoon

Haven’t eaten anything yet today but I’ve just threw in an order from Lights of Bengal for me and Mrs Bluerob. I hope my mates prepared for the hotbox my car will be on our way to golf in the morning. I’m going to lock the windows and make him guess what we ordered

Totally agree, one decent sized meal in the evening is usually enough me. Perhaps cake to put me on might be eaten.
