I love cauliflower. Saw a recipe today which sounded lovely : cauliflower cheese and ham hock pie. I'd leave out the leaves though !

Another empty packet of jelly babies enters the bin. 
Paneer butter masala with jasmine rice, a vegetable samosa and a garlic naan. Delightful.

A very much blast from the past, Beef paste butties with lots of butter and a few pickled onions. Rather nice ..

Had some scouse left over so made some little pies ; I used hot water crust pastry, the same you get in pork pies. The recipe is very easy, but you have to be quite quick moulding the pastry as it hardens after a few minutes. So if you have any left over mince, chilli, curry or stew, give it a go, it's ideal for 'liquid ' food as it's very sturdy.
There's plenty of recipes, here's an example. I always use just lard, just make sure the pastry doesn't get too cold.
