I had a horse tenderloin steak with red wine/balsamic reduction and wild mushrooms in onion and cream sauce ,served with potato segments roasted in butter .

Tonight we will have common bream ( Abramis brama ) It is eaten in most of Europe but not so much in the UK .I think it has a lovely sweet taste and as we catch it ourselves it is even better.
I had no other way to describe it ,it is a potato sliced like orange segments ,sort of boat shaped ,in Finnish "Veneperuna"RIP.
Pray tell, what the hell's a potato segment ?

Yes it looks fat but no fat on the fish itself.We also eat perch here and that is something that you should try ,in fact they are both worth it but they have more bones than most Brits will tolerate .
