I'm coming to the end of Steve Berry's 'The Templar Legacy', it throws up far more questions over the New Testaments authenticity than Dan Brown ever did...............and its written in similar style. Why this book has not caused an equal, if not greater outcry is beyond me. It did become a New York Times best seller................recommended read and I'd give it 7/10 (Di Vinci Code only ever got 5/10 from me)(y)

the bookstore i order from put lord of the flies on my order list by accident. i kept hold of it as it is a classic.

i first read it when i was about 14, but a great/horrifying book to re-read.

Tell the truth Monte..... you have the big letter version don't you. :D

A Game Of Thrones by George RR Martin. 1st book of the Ice and Fire series about two families ruling over a country.

Its very interesting and engrossing at the moment. Its an epic fantasy book but seems more grounded in reality where all the characters seem to be double crossing each other and have lots of things going on against each other.

Its getting made into a TV show for next year by the blokes who did Rome, Sean Bean's in it. Meant to be like a medieval Sopranos. The book does seem like that as the characters are very well realised.

Just finished Engleby by Sebastian Foulkes. That's one fcuked up fictional character, but strangely one that draws you in.

Just finished "The Alchemist" by Paulo Coelho. Found it really uplifting, bordering on inspirational.

I would definately reccommend this to all GoT members (apart from the Goat who I believe is reading the Beano)
