Some hands seem well dodgy but it could just be the luck of the draw.

Amazing the amount of people who turn losing hands in to winners on the river though!

true, your playing against other people not the 'house', so why would it be dodgy?

I think theres a thing called set-up hands.

If you flop a big hand, you'll bet heavy, if someone has called with a decent drawing hand, they seem to outdraw you a lot of the time on the river or the turn.

That boosts the pot higher, and the 'house' takes a bigger rake.

The number of times ive flopped a straight or a full house and lost to a flush or a bigger full house on the river is silly, and of course each time its a big pot and the rake is bigger.

Always try to see all the cards and only go all-in if you have the nuts.

Easier said than done!

I just lost, definatly fixed

My mates theory of online poker is cause the site owners (pokerstars.com in this case) take a cut they don't want the same players playing in one game for hours so fix it so the cards will always eliminate someone from the game rather than sharing the pot around too much.

That way once someone loses a game they are more likely to join another on and give the site another cut of money.
