Same. I wear my headphones all the time now, at the expense of looking like an absolute chump, though. Listening to a song through your car radio and then through your headphones is almost like listening to a different song.

Have you got a headphone amp? I've read that they can add A LOT to the sound quality and volume levels. I'm considering getting one.

I haven't, they look brilliant though. I don't know much about them bar what I've seen in reviews, but the idea sounds so tempting. One day, perhaps when I can afford a good one, like. I'd buy all this stuff if I could afford it. I really want to get myself a good set up sorted for my new room next year with some great speakers though. A couple of mates (privileged barstewards) have outrageous sound systems that sound amazing. Maybe not ideal for student accommodation, but hey, YOLO lololo.

Same, I'm after a portable one really and the best value ones seem to be made by FIIO, they range from £20 - £100. You can spend a lot more on bigger ones more suited for home though. I could easily spend thousands on TV/Audio equipment if I could. I hate it because it makes me feel like I'm missing out! I had myself a good set up in my uni halls, my speakers were OK but I had a 42" TV, Xbox, and Laptop all linked up together. It was great.

And usually you would have most certainly been negged to hell and back for that last line, lad.

I worked for a few years before uni so I managed to accumulate some nice stuff. Add a fast boil kettle and a small fridge/freezer and my room was the biz!

I went in to Richer Sounds recently and had to leave out of fear I'd blow my whole student loan on some B&W speakers. One day. One day.

This has been blowing my mind since its release two days ago. Won't be too long until Swim Deep blow up if they keep producing tracks like this.
