What are you currently listening to?

De La Soul is something else mate, heard some of Big L and from what I heard it was good like. The perks of having a wild music taste eh?

I'm fairly sure Tribe and De La Soul have worked together before actually.

It's such a shame with Big L, as he was murdered when he was about 24 or something, a few days before he was supposed to sign for Jay-Z's Roc-A-Fella records. He worked with Jay-Z a fair bit and there's some brilliant freestyle battles between the two out there. He probably would have been a big star.x

Madness isn't it mate? I was listening to some rapper the other day, his name has slipped me and he was quality and I checked the comments to find out he died around 24-25.

Seriously going to check all the Tribe stuff soon though, just listening to some mix. If I fine anything with them and Del La Soul I'll be very happy, aha.

Been listening to The Fratellis alot recently. Scotish indie/rock band, recently got back together tp record their thrid album. I think they're underrated. You might think they're gash. Two songs of theirs i'd reccomend are 'Whistle for the Choir' and 'Acid Jazz Singer'. Assuming you've already heard Chelsea Dagger

DERDER DERDERDER DERDERDREDRERDER!

Couldn't resist sorry...I heard a song by them a while ago and it started by going 'If you were a shape, what shape would you be?' the name slips me though.

Heard a handful Mos Def tunes, most memorable for me is 'The Panties' mainly because a member of Odd Future rapped over the instrumental and it's just a great tune.

I really liked them when their first album came out in 2006, I never listened to their second one though.

That der derrr derrrr song and 'Whistle For The Choir' got an awful lot of air play at the time.

The Fratellis were annoying as. Never ever liked them.

This though. Still a gem of a song. This extended version is much better than the official version.

This has really got my attention recently, Four Tet - Pause. I'm beginning to like it as much as I like 'Rounds' now.

I've largely been on a Four Tet, Bonobo and Caribou binge recently. They're brilliant producers.
