Have you heard Divine Fits? It's a new band led by Britt Daniel and another guy I heart, Dan Boeckner (Wolf Parade, Handsome Furs). One of my favourite albums of the year.

I've had this for ages and yet I don't think I've ever played it all the way through, which is a shame because it sounds bloody ace right now. "Tell Me, Mama" is superb.
