Hospice is the best record I've heard in the last ten years, mate. It reduces me to tears at times.

On 'Burst Apart' mate, its really different, a lot of instrumentals and a different vibe to Hospice totally, took me a while to get past that.
On the story aspect, I think its a story of the girl he meets and gets pregnant fairly early on into their relationship (see Bear). She has mental problems too, I think (Syvlia). It culminates with her passing away (Wake, I think).
I might be wrong, but that's what I've gathered from snippets I've read.

This is a song that is about something that happened to a lot of people close to my home. I grew up in Anfield, and my primary school was within spitting distance of Anfield and Goodison. I had family there on the day, luckily they came back but it could have been so different.
I watched it happen.
The whole subject upsets me and I've not posted in any other threads about it because I could go on forever about the injustice and the wider impact on our city.
