Infinite reputation bro

I very kindly gave my Americano friend (said in Inbetweeners Football Friend style) all of my music when I left, this is the playlist I've made for his restaurant to give him an idea on a few bands. Pretty GOT isn't it?. Had to edit a few out when I realised it was a family show...So this is pretty much what I'm listening to today

The Vaccines - All in White
Delphic - Red Lights
Biffy Clyro - Bubbles
Bombay Bicycle Club - It's Always Like This
The Courteeners - Not Nineteen Forever
Anything by the Doves....ha
Friendly Fires - Blue Cassette
The Joy Formidable - A Heavy Abacus
The Maccabees - Can You Give It
Mystery Jets - Young Love
The Rumble Strips - Girls and Boys in Love
Stornoway - Here Comes The Blackout (I'm pretty sure your work needs Folk music)
The Twilight Sad - Cold Days from the Birdhouse (don't play this at work unless you want all of your customers to kill themselves, it's ****ing epic though)
Two Door Cinema Club - Undercover Martyn
Bombay Bicycle Club - Shuffle
The Twang - Barney Rubble
Zulu Winter -We should be swimming
Zulu Winter - Key to my heart
Los Campesinos - You, me, Dancing
Los Campesinos - A heat rash...
Alt-J - Dissolve Me
Bloc Party - Valis
Bloc Party - Truth
Foals - This Orient
Horrors - Still Life
Japandroids - Fires Highway
John Talabot - Journeys
Los Campesinos - By Your Hand
Los Campesinos - Songs About Your Girlfriend
The Naked and Famous - Young Blood
Patrick Wolf - Magic Position

Hello bumders. As ever I flit in and out of music not knowing what's current, hop, trendy or even good.
I have however this week dipped my toe into the murky waters and downloaded the following albums which I like.

images

Based purely on my liking his appearances on the tired old mess that is Soccer AM, and that I vaguely remembered I liked 'Thou Shalt Not Kill' from donkeys ago. It's good, and I don't usually listen to this sort of thing.

This is REALLY good. Heard his name whilst 6 music was making another ill advised attempt to wake me up recently. Some very interesting tunes and good sampling.

images

Someone mentioned I might like this based purely on the basis that I wanted to call my son Baxter. I wasn't even aware that Ian Dury had a son. He's definitely influence by his old man.

images

I used to love Gorky's when I was into my indie music. This is very summery and makes me wish it was June again (without the rain this time)

Unfortunately it's not as good as American Slang, but then that would be a big ask. He may be Springsteen-lite, but if you're going to emulate someone...may as well make it the boss.

I wonder how mismatched these image sizes are now?

Alio, you might have to fire up the magic box for me dude. I need tunes.

I'm listening to Purity Ring "Shrines" again after a month pretty much non stop listening to the new Bloc Party. I'm just in the mood for some squiggly beats and a schoolgirl voice right now, what can I say?

Defo top 10...but there's some Monsters being released in the 2nd half of the year. I'll have to see.

I'm going to be unpopular and say Bloc Party's new album isn't in my top 10. I like it but unfortunately I've not taken to it like the rest of you guys have. I think it's a solid album but there aren't enough WOW moments. I don't know... I'll go back to it like, I'm just swamped with the past few weeks as there's been a load of albums that are just immense that I'm hooked on.

Wow. Well agree to disagree. It's defo my top album of the year. Great all the way through.

I don't know, it just hasn't really clicked with me. And I've listened to it a lot.

Just one of the things I guess. I mean it's a good album, but in their other albums I can pick a good handful of songs that blow me away. I can't with this.
