What are you currently listening to?

Saw these boys last night in my wee local. Not my usual kind of thing, but with plenty of cold beer and stuff it was rather enjoyable.

When he screamed, the windows melted. I fully expect them to be Fearne Cotton's favourite band next year or something awful. Still, good fun in a small pub.

For a three piece, they put a lot of bigger bands to shame...it's a great song. New album soon, apparently...looking forward to it. if it was found out Ritzy was a Blue, it'd seal the deal for me.

I had hopes when I saw them that she would pick me out of the crowd and ask me to marry her. I guess I'll have to wait for next time.

Can't wait to hear what they come up with next. They were ****ing explosive live. Their drummer is one of the best I've ever seen period. He's balls out.

Just got this in the mail...fan club only...U2 give me special warm feelings. Especially the old ones from when I was a teenager.

I've got to be honest here, I saw them back in 2004 and my opinion hasn't much changed. Very average, very ordinary for me. That said, it was one hell of an unfortunate first impression. I saw them in a festival with this beast of a line up:

Muse, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, X, Violent Femmes, Franz Ferdinand, The Psychedelic Furs, and The Presidents of the United States of America

Hard to stand out in such exalted company.

If you haven't listened to the new one and Fantasies (the last one), I would do so.

It's ****ing good mate. Loving it. Just found out they're coming to town on Oct. 2. Just before my birthday. Think Jdawg will have to get himself a birthday present.

Can't stop listening to it.

I'd never really got into them before (not that I'd tried) but I got Fantasies too on the strength of this, and will probably end up getting all their stuff.

I love the versatility on this album. It flirts with sickly-sweet indie pop in parts (Lost Kitten), and then it flips to classic synth-driven new wave (Youth Without Youth), and all of a sudden it's ratcheted up into a badass rock 'n' roll tune (Synthetica).

Currently listening to The Hives. Their early albums are so raw and energetic, a lot of fun.

One of the few bands from 2000 who I still listen to, Linkin Park and rarely Papa Roach being the others filling up the nostalgia spots.
