Heh, mate...I was barely 17 years old then and there he was, 2 foot away..."what's up, man!?" I sh*t myself many times that day. It's a weird feeling sometimes, to look at that ticket...knowing some wankstain literally got up on stage and shot him to death years later. Creeps me the [Poor language removed] out some days...
But at least you saw the legend mate! Live, from like 2 feet away! I can only dream of stuff like that! Have seen AC/DC, Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, Anthrax, Judas Priest, Whitesnake, Saxon, Slade and will probably see Trivium, Slayer (again!) and whatnot, but never met any of the musicians from like 2 feet away. Feel great because you did that, y'know? "Get'cha pull and watch it go"!
And if I met Dave Mustaine I'd go mental.

I find his stuff most interesting and hard to play, for me it's him and Chuck Schuldiner of Death that irritate me to no end, but keep me interested, when trying to learn a song.

A little history lesson for some of our younger members...I'll maintain that when they were dialed in, at their best, there wasn't really another band that could touch Husker Du. I have a million songs on my ipod, but when I'm in the car and Husker Du comes on, I crank it up, roll down the window and let the wall of sound filter into the air...it's good for people.
Found this amazing concert on youtube...the whole thing is up, but here are three bad ass songs from the greatest punk band American ever produced (and yes I'm putting them above the Ramones, because as great as the Ramones were in the 70's, they were largely **** in the 80's). "Terms of Psychic Warfare", "Powerline" and "Books about UFO's"
