La Villa Strangiato. One of the best instrumentals ever.
I remember that. It's on Hemispheres, right? Not heard it in decades.

"On Monday, Radiohead announced they'd be bringing Christmas a little early by dropping two new singles on Dec. 19 -- "The Daily Mail" and "Staircase." BBC Radio 1 then premiered a studio version of "The Daily Mail," and we've got it for you to preview until the real deal swings around next week. The single has been around for a while, but this version is mastered better, and sounds like the same recording on the band's From In The Basement live sessions. Two thoughts here for first-time listeners -- one: this sounds about as close to Christmas music as we'll ever get from Radiohead; two: when the bridge hits, it sounds a little like a Fiona Apple song. Christmas really has come early!"
From what I've heard of Black Keys I've liked. My mate has been banging on about them for some time. If you like blues sort of rock then maybe give Cold War Kids a go.
They're first two albums are fantastic. Unfortunately though, the same producer who "sexed up" Kings Of Leon has taken them on for their third album and it's nowhere near as good. So mainstream, man.
I've found myself listening to a lot of Bloc Party the past couple of weeks

Tokyo Police Club are similar and worth a go, if you like the two above.
I've just got El Camino, looking forward to listening to it. Good call on the Cold War Kids, the second album for me wasn't as good as the first but still two good albums to listen to. Haven't listened to the third yet.

Is right mate I remembered you like Cold War Lids. About the second album, I used to favor the first one over it so much but I've been listening to the second one a fair bit recently and it's grown on me immensely. I love his voice endlessly.
This is one of the best tracks, for me.
Oh and good shout with Tokyo Police Club!
You like some decent music to be fair. I always had you down as a Katy Perry fan myself.![]()
I'll have to give them a try like.
I already love Tokyo Police Club though. "Champ" is an outrageously fun album.
And yeah, Chics knows his stuff.
