Just had a very quick skip through it and shall spend a bit more time to listen to it properly.Not usually a fan of his sound but liked what I’ve heard of this so far.

Never appreciated just how good a song this is. Also mad that a song about taking Crystal meth was so massive commercially.

It's like the old Bill Hicks routine about burning your record collection if you're anti-drug. A lot of music in the rock era has had chemical influences, dating all the way back to Sgt. Pepper and the counterculture prior to that one. The biggest Alice in Chains record was almost entirely about heroin.
I always figured Chicago's "25 or 6 to 4" was about drugs, until I found an interview with Robert Lahm where he said the lyrics were the literal experience of writing songs and lyrics at ungodly hours. Which probably are not all that dissimilar, as experiences.
New (ish) LP from Catrin Finch and Seckou Keita, and its unsurprisingly magical.
Really good album that, bit of a hidden gem.

Yeah I had never heard of them until the other day, someone played this song on their NTS show
I saw Lesley Rankine's previous band Silverfish at Planet X way back in the day, then when I moved to London I managed to catch Ruby, at Camden Palace I think, they were both good live.
Quite different, but you can sort of hear the link.
