Huge fan of the opening to that one. Always fantastic live. As they got older, they started playing all the good bits while leaving out the chaff, rather than just playing the opening.

Currently listening to a Stereo 1st Pressing of Rubber Soul with my fingers crossed that it doesn't skip or jump anywhere. There's a little bit of surface noise here and there and a couple of very small pops but so far so good.

Been off work with an empty house and after a bit of shopping and seeing my mam this morning I've done nothing but listen to records and CDs all day. It's been ace.

Fantastic guitarist and songwriter. Get involved with the Longpigs (if you haven’t already) for me they are THE most underated band of the mid to late 90s a few of his songs were b sides on their singles but his guitar playing on the albums is fantastic. Here’s a little something that is Hawley at his subtle/ curious best
