Joe Walsh or Ritchie Blackmore - but they're still going - Joe Walsh still practices every day what two great lead Guitarists - love their music - James Gang & Deep Purple as they were - Joe still with the Eagles plus does solo gigs which I watch on YouTube.....

If it had been the late 80's/early 90's then possibly, but no...not familiar with them.

I don't even remember which genre I had fixated on at that time.

My tastes have had countless boom's/busts over the decades, hence why my posts in here are all over the 'kin place, musically. What I mean by booms and busts is where you're really digging deep in the scene and I'd likely have had to be trenching at the time to find them, being a UK band on a small indie. Music's weird that way, you can make radio in one country and be a complete unknown in another...especially before the internet. I'd have never run across IDLES now, if it weren't for the internet.
