Swooning here.My boy.
Grew up with better music than me. I was stuck in the era of terrible boy bands and the rise of dire pop music. Late 90's and 2000's music for ya.So many people with great taste.
Love that stuff as well. I still listen to The Queen Is Dead (well, aside from the toaster-bath songs) on a regular basis. One of my buddies just posted a link on my FB page - Rolling Stone mag has vid footage of their third ever gig.

Can't link yet, so just posted the string. (edit... seems I can)
Grew up with Smiths, Cure, Joy Division, New Order, Depeche Mode, Bauhaus and their offshoots in the 80s. I started with some of the follow-up stuff, Charlatans UK, Ride, Beautiful South, Blur before getting stationed on Guam and being musically out of it for a couple years.
Two brilliant bands. For a while, The Smiths were everything to me.
I've not listened to much music lately, had myself a little bit of a break.
Got that thirst for nu musiK now though. Ah yeah I have.
I do that. For the best really as then you appreciate it more.
