imagine going out to play for a draw at home against a supposedly mid table side........utter wannabe's

I don't think that's what they're doing. They are playing to keep it tight and nick one on the counter, or push on in the last 20 if still 0-0. Traditional away team tactics basically.

It's a viable tactic against us, as we offer no movement whatsoever in the final third in terms of a striker with his back to goal who can bring others into play. Even our playmaker is more of a driving influence than an intricate technician.

If I were Bilic, I'd have set up the same way. Fair play to him. But the true test is what happens when they open up or tire - because when they do, and if we keep our heads, we'll win this by two or three, like we do at Goodison.

This was a multi-purpose Olympic stadium, eventually morphed into a Football pitch. The gaps between the field and the side stands are indeed an eyesore. But we'll never get something like this since it's being built from scratch.

And it's being paid for, unlike this one
I know all that but it just isn't suited for football, very bad decision if they leave as is.

Barkley and Holgate on the right!! No pace, no movement

Miralles playing where he likes..

WHU have a better structure and bigger threat despite being two-bob.

Only had 14 touches of the ball though, less than any other outfield player. He simply isn't getting enough decent service.

He's not providing the outball to get the team in position to give him the service. He can't be just a goal hanger in the modern game.

I agree about the service but out of 14 touches, he's either played bad passes or lost the ball. Thats the area he needs to improve so much. Just protect the ball, which for the size of him it shouldnt be difficult - Pienaar was a master at it.
