Our Away gameplan is similar to our Home gameplan. Attack, Attack, Attack for 20 minutes, score a goal and sit back and soak up pressure for the rest of the game. Lets face it the 3 A's are not sustainable for a whole game for us. Problem is we don't score the goal , but they do instead due to our dodgy defending. the plan is then in tatters as are the players. They start the 'what do we do now' looks and pretend like they've never met each other, somewhat awkwardly.
Will this week be any different....?
Lets Attack, Attack, Attack and see...
 
We know how it goes. We will start brightly, lots of energy and pressure and pressing. Maybe one or two half chances. But very little real goal threat. Then they will score after about 20 minutes from their first real attack. Then heads and hearts and legs and tactics go. 2-0 by ht. possibly much worse by 90 minutes and an absolute heartbreaking shambles and shower by the end with not even a hint of ever getting back into the game after conceding. Rinse repeat. Ground hog day

Got to go in shut down mode, flood that midfield, with lack of central mids available I’m struggling to see how we can do that even, 5-2-3 it is then ffs
 
John joe kenny, Coleman and holgate definitely start then, makes me cringe. Antonio will bully Keane and Godfrey, Doucoure will forget what shirt he should pass to, VDB will be peak Man Utd form, Gordon and gray will have no one to cross into, whilst we are over run centrally. DCL will have a dilemma over what handbag he should wear, richarlson will fall over a lot and then get sent off
 
Given the Delph isssue (which one), absence of Allan and Townsend, we 'll probably start with:

Pickford
Coleman - Keane - Holgate - Godfrey
Doucoure - VDB - Gomes
Gordon - DCL - Iwobi

...OMG we are going to get battered...
 

I remember watching the 2019 match sat on a terrace in Tenerife. Sun shining, waves lapping on the beach, beers flowing and Gomes running the show in a 2-0 win.

Don't think that will be the case on Sunday but a win would be massive. Please just compete and defend well.

He won’t play 4 at the back, it’s got 5-2-3 written all over it, kenny will be a starter
