True mate but what was important was the continuation of showing fight, commitment and pride in the shirt which we got in abundance tonight. I said to you Dave after the Hull game it would take 10 performances on the spin with all of the above before I started to forgive the tits for the shameful performances they were putting in. This is game 3 of showing the bare minimum of what we demand which is desire, effort, sweat, running the hard yards and we got it in spades tonight. 10 men, 60 odd minutes and at times we were purring like a rolls Royce in extra time. That confidence and swagger that's been missing was showing it's beautiful head again. Game 4 against West Brom, expecting us to absolutely destroy them tbh because I think we are back and will be much stronger for this. Gutted we got beat tonight, but I can rake it on the chin and say they done me proud tonight

I feel exactly the same. To some that will sound crackers...but what we regained tonight was much more important to me than what we lost. Weve got our fight back...no rifts out there. The only clique was the one that had ten men who pulled their guts out for each other....and the 3000 plus Blues with them. Onwards and upwards.

Sad when Monday's game against West Brom is now our final
Can't get my head round why Martinez never used another sub
How many fouls did carthorse Carroll get away with tonight
Barkley was a disgrace in that game, send him on holiday with Sterling
Send McGeady with Barkley (one way ticket)

I'm on about the 1 win in 12. Sure, some improvement in the past 3 games, but hardly clear evidence that we're on top of our game and can go into the next 4 games confident of getting 7 points?

theres about 5-6 homes games in that run as well and we havent won

Have you not seen how we have been playing. Wow!

Stats mean fucxk all. We're going to storm things from now on. Rom's back.

This the same Rom that missed two sitters from about a yard, and mishit the one he did score? Yes he is putting the effort in now and thats great, but for 28 mill he has to finish better.

28m will be a snip when he's banging them in for Liverpool at the Kop End in five year's time la.

Definitely need to come off the pitch with a win mate. The lads wouldn't want to put that effort in like tonight without getting their rewards. More importantly, fans need to walk out the ground with a spring in their step after a win. Nothing like getting 3 points to make us all feel better. I really feel we've turned a corner even though it seems stupid to say that after 2 draws and a penalty defeat. I think someone is about to get a Royal Blue bumming and my bet is its going to be West Brom, Palace and the RS who are in line for it.
Agree mate. We are beginning to click again now. I fancy us to win at least two of the next three.

No, my bad I didn't realise you hadn't seen us play.

Getting confused now so not going to get dragged into this.

If you truly believe we are going to storm things from now on, then good on you. I have at times this season thought we were on the verge of turning a corner and it just kept getting worse.

It looks like we might be almost there again, but I am not confident we are going to "storm it" just yet. A win against West Brom would be a good first step like, build on the past few performances and actually get some much needed 3 points on the board.

Thank you for saying exactly what I feel too.
