We’ve finally taken advantage of a situation. Usually if a win does positive things for Everton, we don’t capitalise on it. We’ve finally done that this evening.

When Carlo took over we were 4th from bottom, now it's 4th from top, that's what a top quality manager does.

Yeah all with some pretty average players still in the starting line up, just think what it will be like when he adds another 4 quality players to the squad. Next season should be good.

The assistant referee that (rightly) disallowed the West Brom goal is Gary Beswick and is from my neck of the woods. He owed me a favour after incorrectly yellow carding me against Hartlepool Corporation Club about 17 years ago for a superbly timed tackle. The mentality is slowly changing which is what’s been needed for sometime. Always been like a mental block. For example when we could have gone top if we beat villa, lost.
but yep, long may this new Everton continue.
