Surprised to see people criticising Barkley, I thought he was excellent. Held the ball up well, passed it smartly and won us loads of fouls when we were trying to shore things up late on. Got the assist for kev's goal too. Yes, the miss was bad but he was otherwise very good imo.

And lost 4-2. I was listening on the radio, on which one of the speaker's has had a dent since Bournemouth's final equaliser last November (don't ask, for the love of god don't ask!)

That dent, and the nature in which we held out today is a testament to just how much needed to change. And should yet.
