The Irish are basically British anyway. They're just in denial.
Only joking!
No. No they are not. But I know you speak in jest cause we all know the Brits are all just Roman/Saxon/Norman invaders.

Just play Ross higher up the field. Really think he'd be more productive with better teammates.Surely this signing means the end of Barkley I can't see where Barkley would fit other than as a sub now in our strongest midfield
I'd have gana, Schneids, Klassen and even Davies ahead of Barkley right now in that central midfield area

Let's say that Davy could be our first Dutch club captain.
Nice that mate and a nice assessment of his talent, not sure if youve seen this vid, but its a must watch.
Doubt it mate. That's in Egypt. The Irish are basically British anyway. They're just in denial.

It's hardly like Ross plays all the good balls and his teammates are letting him down... Ross misplaces 5 yard passes and never releases the ball at the right moment. Better teammates won't help him do those things better.Just play Ross higher up the field. Really think he'd be more productive with better teammates.
Heitinga may have worn the armband once lol just to be difficult like
Good point. I wonder if Gravesen or Carsley or Pistone or Pienaar or some such player did?
Hadnt seen this video myself... wow i am super excited to see him next season, have we had a really solid 1 touch player since Arteta?
They probably think it's a compliment to be thought of as still part of the delapidated and murderous British Empire.Pretty certain Coleman has captained the side since taking over as captain of Ireland.
Though by listening to some of the posts on here, all Irish are apparently British. I'm not sure if it's possible to explain to people how offensive some of the posts earlier in this thread are to an Irishman... and frankly I'm surprised that rhetoric which I would've considered to be "toryite" is being spouted on an Everton forum.

I am Irish and to be perfectly honest I did initially feel offended by this sort of thing, but then I thought I would need to attach some sort of weight to what is being said, in order to do this I would have to attach some sort of credence to the person saying it.
Someone once told me "We all have the right to speak, you have to earn the right to be listened to".
Some of us have yet to earn that right.
