lots of talk about everton interest in sidwell.

i read one report saying middlesborough would provide strong competition for his signature - middlesborough!!

surely everton would be a dream move for him after a season on the sidelines of the sidelines and european football to boot. (y)

good deal at 3 -4m

Good player, not sure if he's right in the head for us (young hungry player, rather than money grabbing little twerp) and would leave the moment more money came along. He's on good money at Chelski, and I am not sure if he's actually worried that he's no more than a bench warmer there. Would improve our midfield, but I'd worry about his attitude in terms of team spirit.
 
Really good player, would love to see him here. He'd have to take a huge wage cut as he should'nt be up with our top earners.

exactly wouldn't exactly call us or the scruffy smoggies his dream move, he got that one last time. apart from that i wouldn't go for anyone with such violently ginger hair, they're mutants you know, all sorts of genetic irregularities. before you say it moyes is strawberry blonde. leave the grabbing shitbag to rot where he chose to go.

You just know we're going to sign a Ginger this summer now after this statement. :lol::lol:
 

He'd be a useful addition to our squad but by no means the answer to our prayers, if he is a money grabber ( like most footballers are ) then he'll go to Newcastle , who'll no doubt offer to match his current wage at the least.
 
I don't want Sidwell. I don't hate him, I just don't think he's the type of player we should be after, he doesn't score enough goals, and we have enough midfielders that can fall under that bracket. Unless the price was £3m, not a penny more, and he agreed to take a significant wage cut, then no way.

C'MON NEWCASTLE AND BID FOR THE LITTLE GINGER.

The thing is that Arshavin is reputed to be earning £2M a year at Zenit so he'd also have to accept a pay cut to come here.
 
I havnt liked what i have seen in him since he signed form Chelsea has shown a really nasty streak since signing for them, must be frustration, or compensating for a lack of skill.

I remeber Wenger saying he rated him really highly and didnt want him to leave arsenal, would hate if he was our "major signing but i think he could have a role"!
