have to agree blue, now hes over his `sickness`, and injury he`s come back and played well no doubt.theres not many who get passed Hibbert and thats a fact, to me a defender should defend, with Baines and Hibbert we look tighter and im more confident, oh and just a shout for a Lescott/Jags middle two and not Yobo et al.

Personally if I had as much hair as Felly I would grow my hair in the extact same way . It is only when it starts to drop out that you realise that you should of hammered the fcuk out it and rocked hairdo so large it would cause a mobile eclipse .

I thought Osman did ok yesterday. He didn't boss the game as Arteta may have done and we have to accept that he won't ever do that. But he's very neat on the ball and keeps posession very well. I think with Arteta out he'll be crucial for the run in. Yesterdays run out should hopefully help his return to full fitness.

Good post, Bruce. In addition, Ossie has not really had the opportunity this season to play the role he's now been gifted. Given a couple of games, I think we'll see him settle into it rather well. He's not Arteta, he's Ossie and more than worthy of a start given the circumstances. Remember also, the lad can score goals and I fully expect him to weigh in with a few now that he's almost guaranteed a place in the centre.

The other thing of course, which considering that we seem likely to play a 4-4-2 with Cahill and Jo/Saha up front is pretty important, is that Osman is not shy of doing a bit of donkey work in the midfield. He's not ever going to bully people or anything but he's always disciplined so you don't have to worry about him losing his man or not tracking back. In a 4 man midfield you need that. MoFo doesn't really offer that, be it due to his injury or the yellow cards knocking his confidence, or indeed it simply not being his game, so I suspect Osman will play a big part in our run-in.
