Well played Peanuts

No offence brother your free to think what you like . I always get the impression that Osman is operating at full steam just to keep pace with the game at this level . He is not a top four player for me and never will be . He would maybe shine at a Hull City or even Portsmouth but I do not think he is an Everton player . I cannot fault his effort for our team but I am afraid I would rank him alongside Hibbert . Two players I would personally be looking to move on in the summer

And replace them with who?? You can not underestimate the value to the squad of players such as Hibbert and Osman. I hope they both enjoy longer Everton careers, clearly they are both lacking in terms of top drawer quality, but neither will let us down and will always give us 100%.

It's about time. He's got a great engine an plays the ball well. But has been off the boil for a while now. It's time players like him an Ossie stand up an be counted now Arteta's out.

Fellaini has scored goals and before he got injured was excellent and 1 of our best players. Suspenions and injury have altered his progress wereas Ossie has done nothing all season

Im not a fan of either, id put them both on the bench, however you cant really compare. Osman doesnt have a major impact on the game like Fellaini does, but he is more creative, creates more chances for himself and others - and works so very hard. Fellaini, his work rate isnt too good, and he is so very slow. However when he plays well it does impact on the game, he heads on, brings players into the game and puts an added pressure on the opposing defence at set pieces.

At the moment id prefer to play Osman, we need more creativity, not just hoof it up and get Cahill or Fellaini to head it on. Plus we need the game to flow more - with Fellaini playing we will be giving away freekicks every 2 minutes.

Both have had ****e perfomances recently (bar Ossie today) but we know both of them can be good.

I agree with you mate . I could never fault Ossie or Hibbert for effort but I am looking to build a squad of players that wants to smash the opposing team with class & style . I want no one in the squad who merits their place just because they give everything . Thats pointless . Look at all the great teams they carry no one in any area who cannot do the business at the top level . We must have no weakness for the opposing team to focus on plain and simple .

I would sell Hibbert and move Neville into right bk for the time being . Hopefully we can get a quailty midfield player in during the summer . We could get 3 million for osman easily couple that with a few million for Hibbert and we have a handy 5 million for our Mout bid

Sorry mate he is not good enough for what we should be aiming for . He is a good player no doubt but good enough to be starting regular Champions league match for an Arsenal or Chelsea ? Not for me and thats the direction I want Everton going in .

I can't see us getting to that stage in Hibbert's playing career so it's hardly relevant. Like saying you want us to be title challengers, in which case 75% of the squad aren't good enough.

Well I get the impression that Fellaini is incapable of keeping up with the pace of the premiership. He runs round the place as if he was wearing moon boots.

Do you think Fellaini is a top four player?

Osman is a far superior player to Fellaini. He tackles better, he passes better, he actually passes forward and is actually capable of running at speed. Fellaini can do none of the above, he is an absolute waste of money.

Harsh that i feel, some players are clearly lacking in skill, but they more than make up for it in team play and effort, that takes you a very, very long way. Arse have some of the most skilful youngsters in the world, but can they **** play as a team and show any effort.

Im not saying i want a team of headless chickens and i agree with people when they say we need to improve the quality of the first team, but players like Ossie and Hibbo they would be excellent back up players, neither will set the world on fire, but neither of them let us down.

What would we get for them both? £6m tops, then consider how valuebale they are at the moment, you know yourself Bruce, we dont have mega money to spend on players. So we are never going to get the major overhaul that the team needs. We need a Midfield partner for Mikel, a winger and then we are good to go.

Clearly some of our players are not Pele, but they help to make us what we are, hard to beat and hard to break down. Portsmouth at Home, that was the last time we got a real spanking this season, every other game we have fought like LIONS!!

I was actually trying to support both players as I think they're valuable members of the squad. Man Utd have shown the value in having players like Fletcher and O'Shea to come in and I see similarities between them and our lads. You need squad men like that who will run through walls for you, won't cause you any trouble, just good pros who will come in and do a job.

I just don't think it's relevant to say they wouldn't get into the Arsenal or Chelsea teams because we don't have their resources. They'll be with us until they retire I suspect.
