We need to talk about Palace

Absolutely love that statement. So much to unpick and all so true.

Will get completely ignored though I’m sure.

Money talks.

It will get ignored because it has no relevance to their case.

it's full of conspiracy theories and nonsense.

Palace lied and continue to do so.

How do you see things moving forward next season after the departure of Glasner @Alan Whittle ?
It depends a lot on the new manager. I think we are resigned to losing Wharton at some point so at best we will fall back into our 10th - 16th place, at worst, a relegation battle.
We may, however unlikely that seems just now, win the Conference League, in which case we get into the Europa League with all the additional opportunities and risks that brings.

I could see Frank heading your way..

Glasner just grates at me. The headline is "Glasner: I'm not good enough" but what he's actually saying is "I'm not good enough to get the players you acquired for me to the level of the players you sold out from under me." The guy is a finger pointer of the highest order.

Why are Palace being so beastly to their manager?
He got them the FA Cup.
They're not exactly a top five club.

Because he's openly admitted to leaving the club this Summer, won't leave himself before then unless given compo, all whilst completely giving up on this season as well as allowing the players to completely give up on a manager that doesn't want to be there anymore.

You can still win a club an FA Cup and be called out for everything unsavoury happening afterwards. You don't just get a free pass for winning something.

I reiterated again yesterday that tonight’s game ‘might be his last’. 🙄

I must add this is just a neutral outside view of the situation.

Because they second he decided he CBA anymore he has done his utmost to throw the club under the bus and get sacked for whatever (relatively) measly payout he’d have remaining by this point.

Needs to bin whoever is in charge of his PR, that’s for sure.
