We need to talk about Palace

Genuinely didnt know Palace were in europe til I read a one line headline about them winning it on the bbc app this morning. No idea even what the cup is called, ... great participation trophy cup?

Bypass all that tv crud and make the champi ... sorry ... top tier runners up cup please Everton.

Can put to sleep the argument whether palace are a bigger team than everton now. Eagles run out clear winners.
Well done palace. Dont particularly have much of an opinion on them but they have consistently top tier strip designs.

Everton are one of the originals, that will never change. Just moved into a magnificent new stadium.
The "bigger club" argument is like some mythical beast.
If we were "Dads Army" characters Everton would be Sgt. Wilson and Palace Private Walker in my humble opinion.

Last season (24-25) saw 9 PL teams involved with Europe for 25-26.

With Palace winning their conference trophy last night they qualify for the Europa league (like they did last year) for next season.

And the PL once again has 9 sides involved in Euro competition.

I hope the trophy parade goes past the notts forest ground.
