He was always waiting on Forest - his club - to become available for him.

No….

I can’t believe I need to explain this.

Forest currently have 5 points and are 19th in the table. The teams in the likely European spots 5th/6th at the moment have 14 points, that extrapolates out to about 66 over 38 games which is a decent benchmark of where European qualification in Europa/conference might normally be.

If Forest were to attain 66 points from where they are now they would need 61 points which is more than 2 points per game for the remaining 30 games. 2 points per game over a full season gets you 76 points plus which is putting you in champions league football most seasons.

So basically the Dyche critics would like his Forest team which are currently 19th to show champions league form over 30 games as a minimum requirement and anything less than that will be mocked as a failure. Anyone with a brain can see that isn’t likely to happen.

It is extremely unlikely Forest will qualify for Europe this season via the league.
Forest have got a seriously strong squad ( nothing to do with Dyche recruitment ) it would be harder to fail than safely move up the league.

Not sure about your love for a former Manager that has publicly berated our club..

Something not right their m8 šŸ¤”

Forgive us for ignoring your judgement on manager/squad capabilities.

ā€˜ā€™Dyche shouldn’t be expected to get more than 48 points and target better than 12th with this squad because the squad and players aren’t good enoughā€

Moyes gets 31 points in 19 games with the same squad and players.

Stay and finish the job...which would have happened without employing Moyes, as we know.

If we had, we wouldn't have the 'Stuck with Moyes' problem we have now. šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø
Considering he talked us down as a club at every opportunity and rinsed the club for a significant payout by not quitting despite admitting he couldn’t take us any further and was out of ideas despite the ownership backing him, you are surprisingly far up his backside.

I thought you were talking about Moyed there...

Be an interesting watch. Dyche has much better squad of players at his disposal, so can't hide behind XGs etc. The defence he has at Forest will suit his style of play.

Yes. Squad has been assembled very expensively and is full of good players. If he doesn't get results here and reverts to type then he is definitely a fire fighter and nothing more

The league table does work like that. He’s obviously not going to get them into Europe when he’s picking up a team 9 points behind the team in the qualification spots at the moment. Nice try to set the minimum expectation for him as something extremely improbable now so you don’t end up being wrong.

Suppose it’s one way for you to break your streak of utterly tragic incorrect predictions.
My God, you have not an ounce of shame.
