No one is arguing he didn’t deserve to go. I said as soon as the takeover occurred it wouldn’t bother me if he went the next day and that we shouldn’t renew his contract. It was horses for courses, the job in Jan 23 under the end days of Moshiri was completely different to what it was in Jan 25 and the start of the Freidkins; they required different managers, and one day in the future after Moyes has taken us as far as he can there might be a different job for another manager to do.

What I contest is the simultaneous narrative that in 23 anyone could have kept us up because Leeds and Leicester were terrible, but somehow we were definitely going down in a season when Leicester got 25 points in third bottom.
We needed someone in 2023 who was good in a crisis for sure

I was pro-Potter when we were looking at Benitez, but when Lampard went I was set against getting a “philosophy” manager and wanted a pragmatist, which Dyche was

He was what we needed at the time, but his management style has a sell by date, because you can only clobber the players with “Gaffer Days” and bludgeon the fans with miserable football for so long until both turn on you

Moyes gets the balance better I feel, simply because he’s just a better manager than Dyche is. That being said; Moyes will definitely go eventually as well

I’ve long since felt that Moyes’ job is to steady the ship until we’re out of PSR waters, at which point he moves upstairs and the Friedkin Group hires a more progressive coach to take over

Talking about taking the bait and you've posted in here about 20 times today.

Me thinks thou dost protest too much

You appear to be very upset at the fact that Sean Dyche is a crap football manager.

The rest of us are just enjoying a scab club struggle.

I post about managers

You post about people posting about managers

It’s a unique type of obsessive voyeurism you have down to a tee

🤡

That’s the only reason you started posting in here today, whining and crying about people laughing at Dyche?

If you don’t want to read people’s thoughts on Dyche, or the scab club he manages, don’t come into the Notts Forest thread.

I've noticed Dyche does this thing where he tries to pass the blame onto his players, he shouts really loud, as though he wants the cameras on him, he then does his tactical pointing, shouts, more pointing the shrugs and tosses his arms around to show his frustration that the team aren't doing what he wants.

Like, look I'm trying to tell them but they won't do it so it's not my fault.
