Moyes just said we didn't need to sell, but we wanted to bring more in and Citeh were interested, so we sold to a top club. If it were anyone else, I don't think he would've sold him.

Who Moyes sold him to was irrelevant.

The simple FACTS are, that Moyes CHOSE to accept the sizeable offer that came in for Rodwell, because HE felt that the size of the fee would allow him to improve the overall quality of the squad compared to simply keeping Rodwell.

He didn't push the lad anywhere, Rodwell took his 5 yr £80K per week contract willingly & Moyes took the cash looking to re-invest.

Do you not think its progressive of Moyes to be looking at exciting attacking type players, to improve us as a squad? Are you just on here for a whine at every opportunity?

No i havent. Have you seen Rodwell over the last 2 years? If your willing to stagnate with Rodwells crab like style, thats your problem. Id be more of a risk taker. I want to see us have attacking options in our squad, and this lad offers us that. If i was that way inclined i could probably find in the vaults somewhere you having a whine about not enough attacking players or cover for Jelavic..

I always thought that in deals man city they just give you the money straight off.
Like with lesscott saga, why would we get 100% fee on one player and not from another?
