We are in real big trouble....

We as fans might not deserve this but the club as a whole does. We've been horribly run for decades and have brought nothing to the game other than just existance. If thats all you bring and all you hope for then at some point relegation is inevitable.

This has been a long time coming and you know what? We might still avoid it. We might stay up in this terrible league and be able to fool ourselves into thinking this season was a blip but it's not. This club needs to purge itself of the poisons vermin that infect it before we will ever get better.

Dutch what worries me is how it’s being thrown about that hiring Pulis or Allardyce is some sort of guarantee. It isn’t. They themselves are naive if they think they are such experts that they cannot lose.

We need a manager that can get a few wins.

Had we won today, we’d of been 11th.

But we keep playing the same effing team and tactics. What the hell is wrong with Unsworth???

Just seen this and what jumped out at me was the word tactics, really? Do we actually have any at all? Although not great to watch but we couldn’t do what Huddersfield have just tried against City and played 11 behind the ball and frustrate them as our defence is dire.

if that's a worry just try and think about what we have in defence on wednesday. kenny martina williams and jags our only fit defenders. Only 1 has the right to start the others would struggle in a good pub side.

What Huddersfield did is pretty much what we did against City at the start of the season. It's all gone pear shaped since then, but that night we got our tactics spot on. A deep lying back 3 to limit them space behind us and 5 across midfield. The midfield 5 were basically all defensive types apart from maybe Davies. It seems bizarre that we are still the only team to get anything against City this season.

The few of us that were talking about relegation koeman left were rubbished as being pre maturely jumping gun. It's only october, plenty of the season left to play for etc even unsworth can do a job for us.

A month later and it's getting worse. No manager, clearly board issues , no actual communication for the fans, the defence is as bad as I have ever seen it. Maryinez defenders always conceded and I thought that was bad, unsworth defenders seems to guarantee 2 goals which is suicidal. We are essentially the worst most have us have ever seen which is some accomplishment considering previous examples.

There isn't a way out of it. Right now we are relegated as far as I am concerned. There is no fight, no heart , nothing that suggests a single player can has a dog of war attitude and get performances from the rest. Most importantly , we haven't got a captain on the pitch.

How do we change it? We hire a manager with a philosophy and a way of doing things and we back him to the hilt. Every single player who doesn't 100% commit to it goes, no exceptions. What we NEED to do is have players who are playing for more than just a job , like we used to. A team, a unit, who will fight for each other. If that philosophy doesn't keep us up then so be it, that's the result of being a crap board and you salvage us and we go for it again.

I don't believe we will go down but it's looking less likely as each week passes that the board have any idea of how to fix their mistake. Because ultimately, by throwing money at Silva and Watford it not only take a time we shouldn't be squandering away right now but essentially to convince a manager to leave a ckub who his way of playing has them in a good season to move to a fire fight job first and foremost, their main motivation is money and that could well end up being the final nail in the clubs coffin this season

Finishing 7th last season was not just on the back of having a top striker and the team scoring 62 league goals it was massively complimented by a defence who conceded just 44 goals. So when you see that after just 13 games to date in this season you reflect of that 28 goals have been let in that certainly set the alarm bells ringing
Some on here couldn’t get RL out the door quick enough . It will be easy they said just have to share his goals around . Some were convinced that spending big on the likes of Keane and Sigurdsson and Klassen supplemented by the likes of Rooney would propel the club upwards
Ok I know hindsight is a wonderful thing but you have to deal with the here and now but save Pickford it’s questionable in my mind if any of the summer recruits would be guaranteed a starting berth at three of the four teams that currently are lower in the league. If I am right then god forbid what’s going to happen here on.
If the summer recruitment is anything to go by then why are so many expecting the January window to solve the problems?
There is wriggle room in the current squad but for me it’s doubtful that any of the high cost and or highly paid players will be off and returning players like SC and YB May hit the ground running but long term injuries are really hard to overcome.
Of course the first thing needed is a new manager but the games are ticking on in a blink of an eye the season will be halfway through. As I posted yesterday in the back of my mind I seem to recall that you can’t replace a permanent replacement manager till you pay off the old one and the suggestion on Radio was that the PK pay off hasn’t been agreed yet.
All in all this is a classic cluster xxxx.

If anyone else say's we need our senior players to stand up i will scream. They have proved they a professional bottlers and are working on getting their 3rd manager sacked ATM. The kids that played under unsworth are the only players showing some fight for the shirt. Put all the kids in for wednesday, the crowd would lift the roof of the old lady but we would still probably loose.
