My spin on what Ross said is that under the usual way deals are structured these days we have offered Sporting 17 million up front increasing to a maximum of 20 million based on appearances, trophies etc.......

Don't think he is even silly enough to say we've offered 17 but are prepared to go to 20 if Sporting hold out a little longer, it would then be poor business for Sporting not to hold out.
