Very good today, much better after the goal. His range of passing at Utd was always a stand out and it was great to see him doing it in blue today. Classy.

His vision is something we have been lacking. Now we just need to get him a top finisher.

I try not to think about how we'd have done/do with Rooney in behind Lukaku last/this season as opposed to Barkley. I think they'd have been something else.

Easily his best display since coming back, fitness may be it or just the fact the game is quicker helped him so his quick football brain just means he is better than other mortals.

Funny how many people were sl@gging Rooney off but were peaking over Sandro mainly because he's foreign and has sleeve tattoos.

Experience doesn't matter on your video games but it means a lot in real life.

thought he was brilliant in the second half, took his goal well end of the first half, and then just got on the ball and made our attacks happen in the second. is right.

people can moan and groan that he's not the same player he used to be, but i was just excited we got a very talented free transfer who's won everything and has great leadership. Slowed the game down brilliantly near the end and thought he ran that second half and got the winner. He was a free transfer, but will help us grind out some important wins over the season.
