Its embarrassing how he has finished at 32 , he has the body and stamina of a 45 year old now

Yeah I know, how embarrassing and unexpected of someone who's been playing Premier league, champions league and internationals at the highest standard for 16 consecutive years.

He was starting to look valuable for us when allardyce first came because he was playing the attacking of the three in the middle. He can't play in a midfield two and can't play in one of the more defensive roles of a three. We all knew that, had we had him and Davies the other way around yesterday we'd have been much better off imo.

Rooney can dictate play, knock good passes. His passing range is brilliant. The problem is, fat sam sets his team up so that only the striker is in the opposition half. Therefore Rooney has no space as every other Everton player is in our own box. Imagine we had wingers or fullbacks who when Rooney gets on the ball wpuld bomb forward like they used to. These boring defensive tactics are killing Rooney!

His passing range to the opposition is brilliant. He’d also need to be able to run to dictate a game. Stop making excuses for him.

He deffo wasn't playing in the Champions League at 16 like.

Anyone thinking Rooney's spectacular fall from grace is down to him starting in the Premier League at 16 is kidding themselves.

Rooney was never in the running for ‘player of the season’. Maybe slowest player, but certainly not best.
