He played well. Then had a 5 minutes spell where he played like a school kid. He very nearly cost us tonight and he needs to stop the basic errors.

The problem that I have is for every great pass there will be 2 terrible ones, for every assist, there will be penalties and pass backs gone awry. I think he is an accident waiting to happen when played in midfield.

He had a Jekyll and Hyde game. When he's playing well you're right he's always looking for that killer pass and he can really make a difference to us, but for a player of his pedigree it's so disappointing the number of times he gives the ball away or does something sloppy, and there were a few prime examples of that tonight. The penalty was maddening.

What can we expect. He pulled the arm or shirt of their player. Gave the ref an excuse to award a pen. Nearly costed us the win and if he stayed on I bet we would lose the game.

His pass back which gave them a corner was also sloppy.
