Just means he doesn't effectively use up an attacking position by playing him where he should be played. Koeman panicked when he realised e had no striker and threw who he thought was the only recognised striker we had up top, but Rooney just comes deep to try to control the play, leaving nobody up top. It's been obvious where he should play since he resigned, and now he looks good.

Absolute nonsense, biggest load of rubbish I've ever read on this forum.
 
Rooney and Barkley on the pitch together would sort out a lot of stuff. If Rooney really takes on tne roll as a mentor to all the younger lads
 


Rooney is a maestro, he can be the architect to build a successful team this season & be the catalyst to inject us back into Europe.....
