He's played 3 piss poor balls mate you are spot on. But do you know what, he's playing forward passes, playing balls that don't always come off. He ain't got the legs anymore but his vision and awareness is better than than every player on that pitch combined.

He's been poor mate. (except one or two attempts at the Cruyff turn). Look at when our CB & CM have possession, he's glued to the opposition. Doesn't show, doesn't offer us anything. He's our 45m man. He's our Ross Barkley of last season.

I would never play him as striker, but I would gladly play him in place of Schneiderlin. I've been saying he needs to play deeper for a while. He can prolong his career there as well.
